The Challenge
Support teams managing live chat from a desktop dashboard miss messages the moment they step away. Learners on mocktestforielts.com needed instant answers โ but had no real-time channel to reach a human agent.
Agents were tied to desktop tools, missing conversations during off-hours and peak traffic. Visitors had only email forms with delayed replies. Without a mobile-native solution wired to push notifications, support quality degraded directly when it was needed most โ causing friction that hurt retention and trust.
The Solution
We built MTF Support โ a real-time chat system with a lightweight JavaScript widget that embeds on any page with a single script tag. Visitors open it and start chatting instantly, no account required. Agents receive push notifications via Firebase FCM and reply from a polished React Native mobile app on Android and iOS.
The mobile app features a unified inbox with All / Open / Active / Closed filters, WebSocket-powered instant messaging with no polling delays, a live dashboard showing 14 open conversations and 3 active right now, team management with per-agent availability control, and a Live / Offline toggle. Built on Node.js, Express, Socket.io, PostgreSQL, and Prisma ORM โ with BullMQ + Redis for offline message queuing and push notification jobs.
